Wild and Untamed Things presents the Rocky Horror Picture show

Past in Ductees

David Cagan (Producer, Founder, Frank-n-furter, MC)

Founder, 1998 - 1999 (inducted by Sue Smith 2006)

One of the 3 original Producers at the Topanga Theater in Woodland Hills.

David Cagan (aka DC) is the master mind behind the WUT concept. In the late 90's it was unheard of to have a cast that accepted all forms of Rocky Horror performing in a democratic fashion. Screen accurate and improv performers where scheduled concurrently to create a flavor that is still rare today. The ideals of DC are what defines our cast even today. He will go down in History as the CREATOR. His principles helped carve out today's Rocky Horror evolution in Los Angeles and the US.

On stage DC hosted each night at the Topanga using his boyish charm to win over the audience and create a Rocky Horror scene in the San Fernando Valley. Cagan was also an amazing leader on stage as an amazing Frank-n-furter, and was the first recipient of the award for best Actor. At one time he performed his craft for Susan Sarandon herself.

Today, Cagan makes his fortune as an independent Computer Analyst.

Alison Hassel (Producer, Founder, Columbia)

Founder, 1998 - 2001 (inducted by Sue Smith 2006)

Youngest Cast Producer in history at age 16. Nationally recognized Columbia champion. (Bay area CON 2000 & 25th Anniversary, Las Vegas 2001)

Alison (aka Ally Cat) was the reason to make an argument for using young talent off the street. She was the standard for movie accurate performing in Rocky Horror in a cast that would make their reputation for innovating the art of Rocky Horror. Her costume was and still is beyond compare and she is arguably the very best ever at Columbia.

She also was WUT's connection into the world of Rocky at the Rialto Theater as that she was a commonly used performer with the legendary cast of the Rialto, Voyeuristic Intention (VI). That association was the platform for what came to be known as the original UFO project and opened a path of influence that still exist today.

But her greatest contribution to WUT came in Alison's final year at the Northridge Cinema. After moving from the Topanga Theater in 2000, the cast was at its most fragile and Ally was there to strengthen the cast membership. She led by example with undaunted vision in the face tragedy. Unfortunately, that same year Alison suffered the loss of her mother, leaving her to raise her younger sister. At the time we begrudgedly encouraged our leaders retirement.

Today, Alison is a very successful model in AUSTRALIA.

Stephen Reese (Brad, Creative Guru)

Founder 1998 - 2003 (inducted by Sue Smith 2006)

Responsible for years of creative inspiration in the cast early days.

He has been called the Clown Prince of Improv. While such leaders as Hassel preached and trained in the traditional Rocky Horror way, Stephan was the one that most pushed for Rocky Horror world to change during the late 1990's, during the Topanga era. He would consistent inspire the cast to re-invent the show, delivering new ways of entertaining the audience.

Stephan created the "Battle of the Brad's" and eventually the "Super Brad's". He was also a strong drive behind the creativity and performance aspects of such legendary WUT themes as SNL (Saturday Night Live) Night, Sacrilegious Easter and Disco Horror. Stephan has received 3 WUT awards for most creative in the height of his career.

He was the first big attracting star of the Fallbrook era and helped establish other talent that would eventually also become legends after learning from him.

Today, Stephan is a Video Game Designer.

2008 Inductees

Lavar / Toby (Tech Director, Diplomat / Eddie, Protector )

1998 - 2004-ish (inducted by Rebecca Lester 2008)

These inseparable friends made one of the greatest team impacts in WUT history.

This dynamic duo came to WUT as members of Midnight Insanity during WUTs infancy.

Toby was already a world renowned Eddie who had won national acclaims for his accuracy in the role of Eddie. Toby was a highly requested Eddie of our Columbia pool.

Besides being an incredible Eddie he was also known as WUT's great security Director. Toby was the security team. You would have to be insane to disagree with Toby. He would have eaten you alive without breaking a sweat if he so choose and everyone knew it, but he always had a smile on his face. Toby was always one of WUT's great protectors and defenders of WUTs right to survive.

Lavar on the other hand, was an experienced journeyman of Rocky Horror who would make it a point to visit with ALL cast's and served as an unofficial diplomat for a young and inexperienced cast. Lavar was the cast member that could be trusted to make a mature, prudent, and experienced decision when leadership needed an additional opinion. Lavar was very interested in creating a standard of tech that would advance the cast to a respectable level. He was a work horse whose example was unfortunately not always absorbed by the other members, yet his legacy did stick with every Tech Director in his wake allowing WUT to be as creative as they wanted to.

Mike & Angie (Cast Leader/ Performer)

1999 - 2006 (inducted by Rebecca Lester 2008)

Another famous duet, met at our show in 1999 and in 2003 got married.

Mike had come to WUT from the Colton, CA cast. He started as a Rocky and eventually established himself as highly valuable Riff-raff. He received acclaim for his costuming prowess at the Frankie goes to Hollywood CON in 2002. He is also responsible for many of WUT's original props, and had held such technical positions as Tech Director and Props Director. Over the years Mike contributed in every aspect of the show, but always had a fondness for the stage. He embrassed a unique physical style of performing that proved to cement his place in our Hall of Fame.

His wife, Angie actually attained the status of Cast Leader in 2004 at the Fallbrook Theater and carried on the traditions of the cast with an iron fist, establishing WUT as a Los Angeles Rocky Horror power. She operated on a "back to basics" philosophy and grounded the cast in the education of the movie and up held the founding ways of Wild and Untamed Things. It would take the birth of Mike and Angie's two children to retire this Cast Leader that protected as only a mother could.

Today Mike and Angie raise their two beautiful children locally. Both of their children were devirged at WUT. Their first born Kyler is still the youngest in History.

DEVO (Cast Leader/ Producer)

1999- 2005 (inducted by Rebecca Lester 2008)

He has been called the "god father" of WUT. His name has become synonymous with the struggling cast in Rocky Horror. And the fans of UFO entertainment have forgotten that he was named after a band of the 80's. After the retirement of David Cagan in 1999, DEVO vowed to continue WUTs vision at the Topanga as he was quickly elevated to Cast Producer and Frank-n-furter. He has won every WUT award ever presented in the category of "Most Devoted to cast". Strangely enough the first four letters of the word devotion are D-E-V-O.

In 2002 he brought Wild and Untamed Things to its current home here at the Fallbrook. "The Sinister of Defense" has made more personal sacrifices than anyone in our History and has lead WUT to 10 years of survival. And they said it would never last. Here at the Fallbrook he reinvented the modern Rocky Horror theme show and has had strong roots in nearly every theme created in the past 6 years.

DEVO is the most well rounded of the current living legends of Rocky Horror. Whether the job called for political diplomacy, self sacrifice, stage writing, stage performance, or simply the support for his friends in cast, DEVO has excelled, setting a new standard of leadership in Rocky Horror.

In 2006, DEVO's vision of creating a "network of support" for struggling Rocky casts created today's UFO entertainment. UFO is the first Rocky Horror conglomerate in History and is dedicated to keeping Rocky Horror alive in a ever changing world. Today, DEVO is still in Rocky Horror. He is the current Director of the cast of Dark Refrain. Recently Dark Refrain defied the odds and returned to the legendary Rialto Theater to celebrate 30 years of Rocky Horror in Pasadena, CA. He is recognized as a mentor or partner to numerous Rocky Horror Cast Directors. DEVO may go down in history as the very best, ever. He will undoubtedly be the crowning jewel of WUTs hall of dfame for years to come.

His list of accomplishment is far too extensive to list here. If you are interested in learning more, please visit his bio at the Dark Refrain website here.

Today, DEVO still strives to assure that Rocky Horror has a place in the hearts of people everywhere.
